Russian attacks on Ukraine's infrastructure have plunged millions into darkness and cold. With temperatures below minus 10 degrees Celsius, the worst energy crisis since the war began is pushing some locals to the brink.

Russian strikes have crippled Kyiv's heating and power systems, leaving hundreds of thousands in the cold. Repair crews work nonstop as corrosion and outages cause constant breakdowns. Vulnerable residents rely on mobile heating units and resilience centers. Mayor Klitschko warns that over 500 buildings lack heat, while political tensions rise during the crisis. With over 250 attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure since October, more are expected.
