Russian strikes on Ukraine trigger airport closure in Poland

Russia launched another major attack on Ukrainian energy facilities overnight, triggering a temporary protective military aviation response in neighboring Poland. Security analyst Marina Miron gives her assessment.

Following a second round of US-led peace talks between Moscow and Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that US partners aim for Russia's war in Ukraine to end by June. 

Despite the negotiations taking place in Abu Dhabi, Russia launched another major attack on Ukrainian energy facilities overnight, even triggering a temporary protective military aviation response in neighboring Poland. 

Security analyst Marina Miron says setting a June deadline may just give Putin a chance to rearm and gain greater leverage.
