São Paulo declares state of emergency as Brazilian truck drivers strike for fifth consecutive day

Brazilian truck drivers continue to protest for the fifth consecutive day - despite a deal being reached between several trucker groups and the government on Thursday night. The drivers have been causing chaos by blocking the country's major highways in objection to rising fuel costs. Now São Paulo has declared a state of emergency.
