Global smartphone sales have been sinking. Last year, they dropped 0.3 percent as most markets become increasingly saturated — but not India. Going against the trend, India saw a 14 percent spike in smartphone sales. Anticipating a further boom, Samsung has now opened the world's largest smartphone factory in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
