Women are conquering a sport that was long considered male-dominated. Strength sports are becoming increasingly popular thanks to athletes like Sandra Bradley. Germany's strongest woman has also won the title as Europe's Strongest Woman and set world records.
Strength training helped her overcome the toughest time of her life. As a teenager, Sandra Bradley struggled with an eating disorder. She wanted to be as thin as possible, and once weighed only 47 kilograms. At 16, she discovered weight training. She is now a personal trainer and strength coach, and helps other women break free from societal expectations.
Will her strength be enough to earn a title in Scotland's Highland Games? We went along to find out.
