In western Senegal the farmers are concerned about their livelihoods. As part of a pilot project being supported by the International Climate Initiative, they want to improve the quality of their land for agriculture.

The community lies on the edge of Sine Saloum National Park, which is known for its biodiversity. But the area is becoming increasingly arid due to climate change.
