Former Formula 1 superstar Michael Schumacher has shown "signs of consciousness" as doctors continue to bring him out of a medically-induced coma. His manager said it was the first real progress since his skiing accident in the French Alps last December. But his recovery in a hospital in Grenoble is likely to remain very challenging given the major head injury he suffered.
