Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu struck a defiant note as he addressed the United Nations in New York, vowing to "finish the job" against Hamas in Gaza. Diplomats and officials staged a walkout before Netanyahu began.

At the UN General Assembly, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faced a mass walkout by delegates protesting his stance on Gaza. He vowed to eliminate Hamas and rejected Palestinian statehood as “insane.”

His speech was broadcast into Gaza, where residents expressed despair. Meanwhile, former US President Donald Trump claimed a peace deal is near, promising an end to the war and the return of hostages.
