These bloggers are between the ages of 75 and 100, and all live in a senior-citizen home in the western German town of Neunkirchen. To ward off isolation, they've gotten involved in the Internet. And their blogs have attracted a lot of young readers.

This Internet project is not merely a way of passing the time. It's also boosts elderly people's self-esteem by showing them that others are interested in their experiences. The blogs were the idea of psychology student Eva-Maria Vogtel, who also though it was important to preserve what knowledge these seniors possess.
