Serb leader Karadzic begins defence at genocide trial

Wartime Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic took the stand at his war crimes trial in the Hague today, rejecting responsibility for some of Europe's worst atrocities since World War Two. The 64 year old denies the charges against him, including two of genocide. He's accused of committing them during the Bosnian War in the 1990's, which pitted Serbs against Muslims and Croats.
