Ludwig Schröder manages the only German company that still makes belts by hand. He and his 20 employees regard belts as a very special product. Ludwig Schröder belts are made to look elegant for a whole lifetime. The company, a family operation founded in 1825, still gets its leather from one of the last pit tanneries in Europe.
