In Ukraine, at least nine people have been killed in two separate Russian airstrikes. The attacks in Nikopol and Kramatorsk come as Moscow presses on with intensified daytime attacks.

In the Ukrainian city of Nikopol, Russian drones hit a market, killing five people and wounding more than 20. The site was struck again hours later. Prosecutors are seeking to classify the attack as a war crime.

In Kramatorsk, a Russian glide bomb killed four people, including a 16-year-old. Ukraine has said most incoming drones were intercepted.
