A spokesman was quoted by news agencies on Tuesday as saying that the two suspects in the attack were killed by police officers.

"We are viewing this as a terrorist attack," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

Rosenfeld, however, declined to say how the suspects were killed. He also said it wasn't immediately clear what weapons the suspects had used to attack their victims.
