12/05/08May 12, 2008

Former Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif has announced his Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is quitting the newly-formed cabinet. The party currently holds nine posts in the 24-member coalition government. Sharif’s party and Asif Ali Zardari’s Pakistan People’s Party have clashed over the reinstatement of judges sacked by President Musharraf last November.
