Shooting at White House press gala

The shooting at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Saturday is just the latest in a series of security-related events involving US President Donald Trump.

In July 2024, while on the campaign trail, Donald Trump was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania. In September 2024, a shooter targeted Trump while he was on a golf course in Florida.

In February 2026, a man drove into the security perimeter around Trump's home in Florida and was shot dead by security staffers.
