Shopping despite Scandal - Irish clothing retailer Primark

Primark recently made headlines over allegations that it had been using Chinese forced laborers to produce its fashions. Doubt over those allegations is growing, and the bargain brand says they are the target of a defamatory campaign by human rights activists.

Whether or not this is the case, Primark's garments are produced in low-income countries for starvation wages and in some European countries for poverty-level wages by non-unionized workers laboring under poor conditions. That doesn't seem to bother most of its customers.
