December 1, 2008

In Thailand, anti-government protesters prepared to end their three-month occupation of the Prime Minister's office on Monday. Supporters of the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) streamed from Government House in central Bangkok to Suvarnibhumi airport, suggesting they weremerely shifting their focus rather than giving up.
