Smart textiles turn clothing into musical instruments, therapeutic tools and calming sensory devices. From Berlin clubs to medical labs - artists and researchers are pushing the creative limits.

Designers and scientists explore smart textiles that blend sensors with fabric, from a music making T shirt built by Syrian designer Akhil Amer to therapeutic gloves helping stroke patients reconnect brain and hand.
