Solar eclipse over Arctic, North Atlantic

August 11, 2026

On August 12, the moon passes between the sun and Earth at 15:34 GMT. Greenland, Iceland and northern Spain will see a total eclipse while other parts of Europe, North Africa and North America will see a partial eclipse.
