South Africa - Business Leaders Confront Education Deficit

No education, no job - no job, no future. That axiom might apply even more to South Africa than it does to Europe. Twenty years after the end of apartheid, millions of people still live in poverty. For years the government and business community have let vocational education slide.

The result: a shortage of skilled workers. Mandisa Nyathikazi wants to help fix the problem. She runs the Artisan Training Institute, which provides workers with intensive training.
