South Asia Donations

Humanitarian organizations are getting contributions from all corners of the world for the countries affected by the seaquake. Help is being offered by international organizations and private individuals.

The United Nations and other international humanitarian organizations say they have received the greatest amount of donations for the tsunami victims, with the UN alone receiving about $1.5 billion (€1.12 billion). However, the UN has warned that there is still a huge challenge ahead of this massive relief operation and it hopes that the world will be able to provide aid to all survivors.
