An estimated 2.5 million people in South Korea are addicted to their smartphones. Young people are the worst affected. That's why several government and charitable organizations have initiated a pilot project to prevent the excessive use of mobile phones.

Twelve schools are taking part in the project. In special courses youngsters learn how to use smartphones responsibly and are made aware of the signs of addiction.
