Southern African leaders will hold an emergency meeting today in Swaziland to discuss the crisis in Zimbabwe. Its opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai is calling on the United Nations to take further action to isolate President Robert Mugabe and provide a peacekeeping force for Zimbabwe. Mugabe has vowed to go ahead with this week's presidential run-off election despite the fact that Tsvangirai has withdrawn from the poll, saying violence and intimidation around the country make a free and fair election impossible.
