Who wants to buy an abandoned airport? The Ciudad Real airport in Spain was set to be auctioned at a public bidding today, on June 19. But the auction has been called off - the official explanation: a formal error.

Insiders however believe that there simply weren't enough interested buyers. The airport was closed in 2012, after just three years in operation.
