Specialist Shortage - German Hospitals Recruiting Foreign Doctors

In rural areas, in particular, hospitals often have difficulty filling staff vacancies. The Rhön-Klinikum in Bavaria has come up with a solution.

It has a program for training foreign doctors to deal with the everyday aspects of the German healthcare sector. Bernd Griewing, head of the neurology clinic, launched the scheme three years ago. Report by Anja Kimmig
