This time our car tester Mathis Kurrat gets behind the wheel of a giant machine. Most car drivers don't usually drive trucks. But for a long time in Germany, those with a car drivers’ license were allowed to drive a 7.5-ton truck like the Mercedes Atego.

The vehicle, which is largely used for short trips to distribute goods, has a relatively small driver's cabin. That's meant to make the Atego easier to handle. Six exterior mirrors also give the driver a good overview. Mathis takes it out for a spin.
