Spotted wing fruit flies - A danger to fruit harvests

Drosophila suzukii only arrived in Europe a few years ago. But the fly, which is native to Southeast Asia, is already wreaking havoc in fruit orchards and market gardens. Cherries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, plums and grapes are their favorite food.
