Sri Lanka's Parliament Suspended For a Month

Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapakse has suspended parliamentary sittings for a month, which would dissolve all committees including the ones probing into corruption allegations. The decision comes as the country's tense east is all set for local elections on Saturday.
