Star German architect Guenter Behnisch dies at 88

One of the leading German architects of our time, Guenter Behnisch, died on Monday. He made a name for himself by designing Munich's Olympic Stadium for the 1972 Games.

Other notable projects by Benisch include the Plenary Complex of the German Parliament in Bonn, the reconstruction of Berlin's Academy of the Arts, and Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research in Toronto.
