Still no agreement in Germany's governing coalition on how to save the carmaker Opel

Turning to other news now... and the troubled German car maker Opel needs a quick cash injection if it's going to stay afloat. But the German government remains divided over plans to provide state intervention. In order to save about 950 million euros in staff costs, company head Hans Demant is not ruling out plant CLOSURES in Germany. In this event, thousands of jobs would be lost.
