Six years ago, we followed young immigrants as they started their new lives in Germany. Amir, who fled Togo at the age of 16 to seek asylum in Bavaria; Florina from Mexico, who came here as a tour guide for the Soccer World Cup and was hoping to stay; Konstantin from Moscow, who was trying to settle down with his family in Leipzig

Six years ago, we followed young immigrants as they started their new lives in Germany. Amir, who fled Togo at the age of 16 to seek asylum in Bavaria; Florina from Mexico, who came here as a tour guide for the Soccer World Cup and was hoping to stay; Konstantin from Moscow, who was trying to settle down with his family in Leipzig; and Rashin from Iran, who had found the love of her life in Berlin. Now we’ve caught up with them again to see how they are getting on today - and what happened to them in the meantime.
