Strengthening bones with calcium and vitamin D

In osteoporosis, bone density decreases and this creates health problems. But a diet with plenty of calcium can help increase bone density, while enough vitamin D ensures that calcium can be absorbed properly. The average adult needs one gram of calcium per day.
