Suicide attack targets Peshawar security complex in Pakistan

After a suicide attack in Peshawar, Pakistan has accused India and Afghanistan of involvement in terror attacks. Only weeks earlier, Pakistan's capital, Islamabad, saw the deadliest suicide attack in nearly a decade.

A blast outside Pakistan's Federal Constabulary headquarters in Peshawar targeted security forces but missed its main target. The attack, which shut down markets and sparked fear among locals, comes amid rising militant violence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, often linked to the Pakistani Taliban.

Pakistan's leaders have blamed foreign involvement, pointing to Afghanistan and India — claims both countries have denied — as  tensions and security challenges escalate.
