Oscar-winning film director Roman Polanski has been arrested in Switzerland on a US warrant dating back 30 years. The Swiss justice ministry has confirmed Polanski is in custody pending extradition. The Polish-born filmmaker fled the United Statesin 1978 while awaiting sentencing on charges of sex with a minor.
