Taliban-Pakistan fighting fuels Afghan refugees' fears

The clashes between the Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani military have brought the shadow of war back to the minds of Afghan refugees in Pakistan. Staying in Pakistan is dangerous, but going back is likely to be worse.

For Afghans living in Pakistan, the large-scale military conflict between the Pakistani military and the Taliban regime in Kabul comes as a crescendo of a yearslong row, with refugees unwittingly placed in the middle of a brutal and often deadly crisis.
