Sri Lanka: civil war

It's been ten years since the end of a brutal civil war in Sri Lanka. The end came in Mullivaikkal, and it was there that thousands of civilians became trapped between an advancing Sri Lankan army and the separatist rebels. Some 146,000 people remain unaccounted for and are presumed dead. Tamils gathered in Mullivaikkal to remember those who died.
