Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is suffering a shortage of teachers. The pay is not enough to attract the young teachers needed to replace the older ones headed for their pensions. To make sure classes stay in session, retired teachers are stepping in. Among them is Lutz Finke. He teaches Latin and chemistry.
