Tensions rise over disputed East Sea territory

Tensions over China's newly-declared air defence zone in the East China Sea continue to mount. The area covers islands claimed by both China and Japan. The United States, Japan and South Korea have flown aircraft over the area in defiance. While the U-S has said it expects civilian aircraft to observe China's rules, there are no signs of an end to the squabble.
