The BMW 5-series Gran Turismo was a real eye-catcher at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 2009, and it is still getting looks now. From a technical standpoint, the luxury hatchback's design has been derived from BMW's 5- and 7-series, but it still has distinguished looks that catch the eye. The world had never seen a BMW 5-series like this one. It was the first BMW model to have side windows without frames. A spacious interior means that the car is very comfortable, and the back seats can even be moved as much as 10 centimeters. The hatchback opens in two different ways, depending on what must go into it. Drive it! took this little diesel, the 530d, out for a spin.
