In Uganda, hand-dug wells provide water but it's sometimes polluted. One man is bringing change, with solutions for purifying groundwater and recycling wastewater.

Water is essential for survival, yet millions of people in Uganda still face illness from contaminated sources. Children are especially vulnerable. We follow efforts to secure safe drinking water—from well diggers searching deep underground to engineers tackling dangerous levels of iron in school borehole water.
