Thai election disrupted by protests

Snap elections in Thailand have been hit by anti-government protests, leaving millions of people unable to cast their votes. Polling stations in several regions had to close, with demonstrators blocking voters from gaining access and preventing ballot papers from arriving in the first place. The opposition is calling for new corruption reforms.
