Thailand's prime minister has dissolved parliament, paving the way for fresh elections. This comes amid ongoing border violence with Cambodia. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced on both sides.

Thailand's Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has dissolved parliament just three months into his term, citing loss of support from the People's Party.

The move adds to turmoil as fighting with Cambodia has displaced hundreds of thousands along the border. Evacuees say political uncertainty leaves them anxious about ceasefire prospects, with no clear leadership to resolve the escalating conflict.
