About 15 billion dollars - that's what the ailing US car industry is set to get if the US Government reaches a deal with Democrat leaders. That's actually half the amount requested by the big three car makers, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler. The money will reportedly come from an existing Energy Department fund for advanced technology.
