The Baseballs – Pop Hits in '50s Garb

Big hair, swiveling hips and rolled up jeans: The Baseballs have the '50s look and the '50s sound. The newcomer band from Germany turn current pop hits into fifties-style rock n' roll, complete with three-part harmony.

Whether it's a song by Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Leona Lewis, Rihanna or Kate Perry, the trio gives each tune a thorough 50s makeover. Oddly enough, the three musicians first met in a practice room for heavy metal bands back in 2007. This year, their debut album "Strike" made it to number six on the German charts, even reaching the top of the charts in Finland.
