The Battle over an Ojibwe Scalp

The scalp of an American Ojibwe has been exhibited at the Karl May Museum in Radebeul for decades. Now native peoples from the US state of Michigan are demanding its return. They argue that the display of their ancestor's remains is "very disrespectful, insulting and unconscionable". The conflict is escalating and could soon reach the political level.
