The chief executive of German carmaker Porsche resigns after losing a power struggle with Volkswagen

(Amrita): The chief executive of the luxury sports carmaker Porche, has resigned. The company's supervisory board announced the departure of Wendelin Wiede-king after all night talks in Stuttgart. (Monika): Wiedeking was involved in a power struggle with Volkswagen - which is now set to take over Porsche. In the all-night meeting, the board also endorsed efforts to sell a 10-to 25-percent stake to the Gulf state of Qatar and to boost its finances with a capital hike of at least 5-Bbillion euros. +++ SYN-MAZ +++
