The Day: US changes international student visa rules

International students may have to leave the US if their universities switch to offering online-only classes because of the coronavirus pandemic. The move was announced suddenly on Monday, sparking several top universities in the US to sue the government to block enforcement of the new rules.

Anca Wilkening is a German student studying for her Ph.D. in religion at Harvard.  Wilkening tells DW's Brent Goff she is stunned by the news and does not know what she will do if she has to leave the US.
