Jackets fitted with an IP address, sneakers with sensors, glasses with mini-computers built into the frame: even in the area of clothing, digital technology is gradually changing our lives.

Design researcher Gesche Joost is involved in exactly this area and believes in the advantages of modern technology, but she also sees one major disadvantage: the loss of privacy. Her goal is to find out how to strike a middle path, safeguarding our rights to privacy while still benefitting from the advantages that analyzing data offers us as a society.
