The economic downturn has affected German industry even more dramatically than predicted by economists. Data released on Thursday shows a massive reduction in orders for export goods for November, and the biggest plunge in export EARNINGS since the country's re-unification almost 2 decades ago. Trade with non-Eurozone countries has been hit the hardest.
