The Euro under Pressure - Opportunity or risk for the German economy?

The euro continues to lose value - good news for central bankers and export-oriented companies, bad news for importers and holidaymakers. The currency’s struggles could help stimulate the German economy, but there are risks involved.

Among the big beneficiaries of the cheap euro are companies that export outside the euro zone. Other firms that are more dependent on raw materials or products from abroad are under pressure from the strong dollar. We report from Frankfurt, Germany’s financial capital.
